Our New Years Eve Plans

It has been a year! For good or bad its the last day and I am ready to move on and I know I am not alone. After having masked activities for Christmas we have decided to do our own thing, just the three of us, for New Years Eve. We plan to have a charcuterie board, pizza from a local shop, Martinelli's, and a bunch of junk food. We will play games and watch movies. Then our 6 year old will probably be completely underwhelmed when she "sees the new year." But we have some other plans too...

A few weeks ago I was made aware of the Free Covid-19 Time Capsule available at kiddycharts.com. I am very excited to fill it out as a family this afternoon and evening. It is a great excercise to get you thinking about how you have felt this year, about yourself in general, and other things like how we celebrated differently. It is designed for each family member to create their own, but the last few pages asks for things from the entire household. As a family historian I am in love with this printable. Head on over to Kiddy Charts website and check out this awesome free opportunity,

We also plan to set goals as a family and as individuals. Our goals will be hung in a place where we will see them everyday so we can remind ourselves of how we want to be better. Having plain lined paper on the wall just isn't appealing though and I knew that there had to be some printables out there waiting for me to find. I found some great ones and I just had to share. Below are links to the adult, child, and family goal sheets I found.

I may or may not get back on here to post about what our goals ended up being, but I do know that posting on here more often is one of my goals. In the meantime, do you have goals for the new year? What are they? Will you have your kids write their own goals?
