Sand Ridge Park

So I had this thought! What if before Lizzie start Kindergarten in the fall we visit EVER park in our city? I ran the idea past her and she was thrilled. What 4 year old wouldn't be? This week we hit up our first park. It was a quick visit and we will definitely need to go back soon.

Sand Ridge Park in Layton, UT boasts 10 Acres of space that includes picnic tables with shelters, basketball and tennis courts, lots of grass, a playground, nearly a half mile of walking trail, and what every mom wants to know about: BATHROOMS with flushing toilets. This was my favorite part of the park. This is actually a working instrument. I was able to plunk out all four songs that are above the keyboard. So fun!

Lizzie made friends pretty quickly. There were quite a few kids around. She loved having kids to play with. She and her new friends were taking turns doing tricks on this particular piece of playground equipment.

I would definitely recommend a visit Sand Ridge Park. Its perfect for a picnic with with friends or a quick play to get some energy out.
